2022 Mitsubishi Outlander Exceed Review: Snapshot

High in the Outlander lineup, just one step away from the top, is the $47,990 Exceed, and it's only available with all-wheel drive.

Standard Exceed features include leather seats, three-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, power front driver and passenger seats, pop-up sunshades for the rear windows, and a Bose audio system. 

There are also 20-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 360-degree monitor and head-up display, 9.0-inch multimedia display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, front and rear parking sensors. adaptive cruise control, reversing camera, push button start, privacy glass, auto headlights with auto high beam, leather steering wheel, proximity key, roof rails, cordless phone charger and rain sensing wipers, plus LED headlights and running gear the lights.

Outlander is equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 135 kW and 245 Nm of torque.

The 2022 Outlander has yet to receive an ANCAP safety rating, but it does have a host of safety features such as front AEB, lane keeping assist and blind spot warning across all grades. LS trims and up also get rear AEB and rear cross traffic alert.

Please note that airbags do not apply to third row passengers.
