2022 Mitsubishi Outlander LS Review: Snapshot

The LS sits above the entry-level ES with its list price of $37,990 ($2500 more if you want all-wheel drive).

Standard entry-class LS features include a 9.0-inch multimedia display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, front-row dual-zone climate control, front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, rearview camera, electric parking brake, push-button start, privacy glass , auto headlights with auto high beam, leather steering wheel, proximity key, roof rails, cordless phone charger, rain sensing wipers, trip computer, lane assist, and LED headlights and daytime running lights.

Outlander is equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 135 kW and 245 Nm of torque.

The 2022 Outlander has yet to receive an ANCAP safety rating, but it does have a host of safety features such as front AEB, lane keeping assist and blind spot warning across all grades. LS trims and up also get rear AEB and rear cross traffic alert.

Please note that airbags do not apply to third row passengers.
