Very small IoT computer

Very small processors for very small computers that can be… swallowed. This is a chip created by Freescale and designated KL02. It was built using the so-called Internet of Things, i.e. in "smart" sports shoes. It can also be installed in tablets prescribed by a doctor.

Developers tried to reconcile different expectations and solve the problems that arise from the ubiquity of such microcontrollers. Therefore, if they are to serve as reasonable drug dispensers in the body, they should not be expensive as they are digestible. On the other hand, small chips and controllers create radio interference in the environment and interfere with the operation of other devices.

Freescale engineers tried to prevent the last problem by placing KL02 in the so-called. Faraday cage, i.e., their electromagnetic isolation from the environment. The company announces that its mini-computers will be equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity or other bands later this year.
