Thanks to this, the company has a stable reputation and is considered one of the best in the production and sale of various polymer coatings.

Product Main Features

Tinted films are designed to protect the interior of the car from overheating and prying eyes. In addition, they protect the glass from scratches, and in the event of an accident, they do not allow splinters to scatter and protect people sitting in the car.

The main characteristic of tinting is light transmission. This indicator determines the degree of dimming in the cabin. Varieties are produced that transmit 25% of the sun's rays, less than 25% and less than 14%.

There are several types of coatings:

  • Painted - inexpensive and short-lived. They can fade in the sun or crumble with a sharp change in temperature.
  • Metallized - contain a thin layer of metal that additionally protects from sunlight.
  • Reserving - have a layer of especially strong metals, protect the glass from damage.

armor film

Athermal films, in addition to sunlight, delay thermal radiation.

SunTek tint films are among the best in composition and performance.

According to experts and reviews of car owners, SunTek brand tint films are among the top five in terms of quality and chemical composition. The company's products absorb from 40 to 80% of visible light and infrared rays, and ultraviolet delays by 99%. This allows you to evenly cool the interior of the car, reduce the load on the climate system and fuel consumption.

The principle of operation of tinting "Santek"

The effect of tinted coatings is based on blocking several types of solar energy - ultraviolet and infrared rays, as well as visible flux (LM).

Coating components delay each type of radiation. This allows you to achieve the following effects:

  • maintain a comfortable temperature in the car interior at any time of the year;
  • reduce the brightness of sunlight and provide the driver with good visibility;
  • protect people sitting in the car from ultraviolet radiation, which is hazardous to health;
  • protect upholstery and plastic from burnout and overheating.
Besides, films protect glasses from mechanical damages and give the car an elegant stylish look.

Properties of SunTek Films

Brand products are manufactured using a unique patented technology. The film can consist of several layers:

  • 0,5 mil polyurethane top coat - protects against dirt and dust;
  • 6 mil thick Urethane - impact, wear and high temperature resistant;
  • Adhesive - adhesive base that prevents the appearance of stretch marks;
  • 3,5 mil thick liner - matte finish protects against harmful weather conditions.

Properties of SunTek Films

Thanks to the addition of dyes and metal sputtering, it is possible to obtain films of different colors (black, blue, bronze, smoky, etc.). All of them are characterized by high optical transparency and do not impede visibility. The films do not interfere with mobile communications, radio or navigational devices.

Variety of series

The company produces several series of tint, protective and architectural films. All of them differ in composition and functions.

HP (High Performance) и HP PRO

Premium Series. Films on Suntek cars for tinting auto glass consist of 2 layers. The polymer is painted in the color of charcoal, it removes heat well and protects against glare. Metallized (aluminum) layer protects against fading and improves visibility inside the car.

Films are 1,5 mil (42 microns) thick and are available on rolls. HP Charcoal coatings transmit 5 to 52% visible light and 34 to 56% infrared radiation. SUNTEK HP 50 BLUE brand tinting is blue and transmits up to 50% of visible rays.

Suntek HP Pro tinting is available in 4 types (HP Pro 5, HP Pro 15, HP Pro 20 and HP Pro 35). Their light transmission is from 18 to 35%, the blocking of infrared radiation is from 49 to 58%.

CARBON

The film for the Suntek car from 2 layers of polymer does not contain a metal sputtering. Provides protection from thermal radiation, does not interfere with cellular communications and radio waves.

Available in 5 types with varying degrees of light transmission. Do not reduce visibility and meet the requirements of GOST. Material thickness - 1,5 mil. The coating has an anti-reflective effect and does not fade in the sun.

If the glass breaks during an accident, the film prevents the fragments from flying around the cabin and prevents injury to the driver and passengers.

LDC

New development from Commonwealth Laminating & Coating, Inc. Considered unique. It combines the performance of premium coatings with an affordable price.

The film for automobile glasses is painted in coal-black color. It reflects bright light, thermal radiation and ultraviolet well. Ceramic spraying prevents the formation of glare both on the surface of the car and inside the cabin. At the same time, the coating has exceptional transparency and does not impede driving.

It is resistant to adverse external influences, the manufacturer gives a lifetime warranty on it.

Infinity

Films of this series consist of 3 layers and are made on the basis of polymeric material. External nichrome coating creates a mirror effect and gives a glossy shine. It has a neutral color that does not change when applied to athermal coated glass.

Provides a comfortable temperature inside the car and reduces glare.

The polymer film for cars "Santek" protects against scratches and other minor damage, increases the mechanical strength of the glass.

Tinting film SUNTEK Infinity OP Series (Neutral) 20%

The most common types of Infinity films are marked 10, 20 and 35. They have low light transmission and are only allowed for wrapping the rear hemisphere of a car. For frontal, GOST allows coverage with a throughput of at least 70%.

CXR 80 (CARBON XP 80)

The tinting of this brand has a high light transmission capacity (more than 70%). This allows it to be used for pasting anterolateral and windshields. Blocks out 99% of ultraviolet radiation and 23-43% of infrared radiation. Reduces overheating inside the car and helps maintain a comfortable environment.

The coating prevents the formation of small fragments upon impact - they do not scatter and do not harm passengers. Combining a light CXP 80 (CARBON XP 80) with a darker finish on the rear hemisphere will reduce the contrast between the windows and give the car an aesthetic look.

Car tinting film "Santek"

You can stick the film only on a clean, dry surface. Before starting work, the car must be thoroughly washed and dried. The surface should be free of small defects, chips and scratches. Pasting is carried out indoors at an air temperature of +15 to +30 degrees.

Schedule:

  1. Cleaned and degreased glass is treated with soapy water. Some experts recommend using a mixture of car shampoo, distilled water and alcohol.
  2. Cut pieces of film to fit the glass.
  3. Apply the pattern to the glass surface.
  4. Smooth the coating from the center to the edges with a special tool, removing the remnants of water and soap.

After pasting, it is not recommended to wash the car for 3-5 days.

Suntek PPF Protective Films: Specifications, Features and Differences

Suntek PPF is the third generation paint protection film. This is one of the most effective solutions to reduce the impact of adverse factors - scratches, low-impact impacts, aggressive chemicals. In addition, wrapping the car with Suntek film gives a glossy shine to the surface of the car.

The coating has a special self-healing layer. If minor defects appear on the surface during driving or washing, it is enough to treat them with hot water or a hairdryer.

The film thickness is 200 microns, which makes it invisible after application. It stretches well and can be used for difficult surfaces - bumpers, etc. The tensile strength is 34,5 MPa. A layer of acrylic adhesive prevents stretch marks. The company gives a 5-year warranty on the coating.

How is anti-gravel film "Santek"

Suntek's anti-gravel film is produced using an innovative technology patented by the company. Consists of 2 layers of polymer. The bottom layer - reinforcing - protects the paintwork. The top thermosensitive layer prevents formation of scratches.

How to care for film

In order for the Suntec film to serve as long as possible after pasting the car, you need to properly care for it:

  1. When washing in a car wash, keep a funnel with water at least half a meter from the car.
  2. Wipe with clean cotton or microfiber cloths.
  3. Do not use chemical solvents or abrasives.
  4. Don't rub too hard, as this will cloud the finish.

You can add a glossy sheen after washing with a thin layer of special wax.

How to make sure that the interior of the car is covered with original SunTek film

Suntec tint films for cars after application have shades of charcoal. They do not impose a color filter on transmitted rays and do not change visibility. In this way, you can distinguish the original SunTek coating from a fake.

Another indirect sign of quality is cost. Pasting a car with Suntek film costs an order of magnitude higher than ordinary Chinese or Korean materials.
