Recently, the German brand demonstrated a conceptual model of a crossover on all-electric traction. It is expected that production of the model will begin next year. In the Audi collection, this is the seventh model of an electric car. He will compete for the famous Tesla Model X and Jaguar I-Pace.

The design of the cross-coupe is identical to the appearance of the Q4 e-tron concept car, presented at the Geneva auto show in 2019. In length, the novelty will be 4600 mm, in width and height 1900 and 1600 mm, respectively. The interaxal distance is 2,77 m. The novelty will receive the original radiator grille in the shape of an octagon, enlarged wheel arches, updated optics. The highlight in the design will be the highlight of the e-tron logo.

The model will be sold with 22-inch wheels. The direction indicators are made in the form of a thin strip. The wing punching resembles the 1980 quattro design. In the crossover class, this model, according to the manufacturer, has the lowest drag coefficient - 0,26.

Trim is made in beige and white shades. The Sportback e-tron does not have a transmission tunnel, which increases comfort and makes the interior design unique. The console is equipped with Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus and a multimedia system with a 12,3-inch screen.

Up to 100 km / h, the e-tron Q4 accelerates in 6,3 seconds. The speed limit is set at around 180 kilometers / hour. Under the floor there is a 82 kWh battery. The system supports fast charging - in just half an hour, the battery can be charged up to 80 percent. The weight of the power source is 510 kg.

As the manufacturer promises, by 2025 the line of electric models will be 20 varieties. It is planned that sales of electric cars will amount to 40 percent of all Audi cars.
