• frequent failures of the generator, thermostat, exhaust gas recirculation valve and ignition device, as well as the V-belt and all components;
• damage to the cylinder head gasket;

Opel Astra II (G)

• in version 1.7 CDTI the oil pump sometimes fails;
• in the Easytronic automatic transmission, problems with the control electronics may occur;
• very often there are problems with damage to the air conditioner radiator and jamming of the air conditioner compressor;
• high-mileage models struggle with steering failures and metal-rubber suspension breakouts.

Opel Astra IV (J)

The premiere of the fourth generation Opel Astra took place in 2009, that is, quite recently. Previous versions of this German compact have already established themselves and won the trust of a crowd of drivers.
