Opel has started sales of the new Movano with diesel engines and the new all-electric Movano-e in Poland.
Opel Movano. Wide range of options
Van buyers can choose from four lengths (L1: 4963mm; L2: 5413mm; L3: 5998mm; L4: 6363mm) and three heights (H1: 2254mm, H2: 2522mm, H3: 2760mm) with maximum cubature from 8 to 17 m3. With a height of 3 m, the H2,03 door is the tallest in its class. Together with the 180 degree tailgate (expandable up to 270 degrees) this makes loading extremely easy.
The Gross Vehicle Weight (GVM) range is one of the largest in its class, from 2,8 to 4 tonnes, with a maximum payload of 1,8 tonnes. With a length of 2670 4070 to 503 1422 mm, a cargo sill height of only 1870 mm, a width between the wheel arches of XNUMX mm and XNUMX mm between the sides, the cargo compartment of the new large van from Opel is the benchmark for competitors. .
The standard cab has one row of three seats, while the second row of the optional crew cab has room for four additional passengers. To meet the specific needs of customers, the new Movano is also available with an integrated landing gear and a standard or crew cab, as well as a cargo floor and a cab with one row of three seats. Later, the new Opel van will also be available with specialized add-ons such as dump trucks, drop-side platforms and motorhomes.
In Poland, Opel initially offers the new Movano panel van with a GVW of 3,5 tonnes in two versions: standard and increased payload, with four body lengths (L1-L4), three heights (H1-H3) and two levels. Equipment - Movano and Movano Edition.
Opel Movano. Driver assistance equipment and systems
Many driver assistance systems are standard and do not require additional payment. The doors have deep pockets. The dashboard has a smartphone holder and a beverage storage compartment that is cooled in air-conditioned cars. The spacious cab provides comfort with a six-way adjustable driver's seat with lumbar support. Passengers on a double sofa can use a rotating table. All seats are equipped with headrests.

Depending on the equipment version, the following are supported as standard for the driver: automatic emergency braking system, lane change warning system, start-off assistant, cruise control with speed limiter, as well as Park Pilot, i.e. rear parking sensors for easier manoeuvring. Blind-spot monitoring and a rear-view camera are available as options. The buyer can also order automatic air conditioning, a tow bar, electrically adjustable heated and folding side mirrors, and anti-theft protection.

Opel Movano. What drive?
The new Opel Movano-e is the first battery-powered vehicle in the large commercial vehicle segment offered by the German manufacturer. The electric powertrain delivers 90 kW (122 hp) and a maximum torque of 260 Nm. Top speed is electronically limited to 110 km/h. Depending on the model version, buyers have a choice of lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 37 kWh to 70 kWh, providing a range (depending on the profile and operating conditions) of 116 or 247 kilometers, respectively (WLTP combined cycle).
In addition to all-electric drive, the new Movano also offers diesel engines with some of the lowest fuel consumption and COXNUMX emissions.2 on sale. The 2,2-litre engines complying with the strict Euro 6d emission standards develop power from 88 kW (120 hp) to 121 kW (165 hp). High torque is available from low engine speeds and ranges from 310 Nm at 1500 rpm to 370 Nm at 1750 rpm. The motors drive the front wheels through a six-speed manual transmission.

List prices on the Polish market start from PLN 113 net for the Movano chassis and PLN 010 net for the Movano-e all-electric van (all prices are recommended retail prices in Poland, excluding VAT).
