Monstrous oversized bumpers and big spoilers are a thing of the past. Now in vogue, it would seem, small changes in the appearance of cars and pasting the body with a matte film.

Car modifications - colloquially known as tuning - are not limited to changes to the engine, exhaust and brake system, or suspension. It also changes the appearance and interior of the car.

Robert Grabowski, owner of Mcm Team in Bialystok, points out that tuning has changed a lot in recent years. Gorgeous Evo or Supra bumpers and fenders, M look mirrors and air intakes are a thing of the past.

“At present, manufacturers mainly offer copies of elements of serial, but sports cars, for example, Audi S, RS, Seat Cupry, BMW M, Skoda RS,” Grabovsky lists. These are slightly modified elements, but perfectly match the silhouette of the car.

Matte film and big wheels

It is currently very fashionable to cover parts of the body or entire cars with carbon foil, black and white matt or typical glossy paints. To do this, choose large wheels.

The so-called German style, the car is very understated, without embossing and moldings, always with wide rims and low-profile tires. Part of the tuning market is also occupied by American styling, i.e. making cars similar to American versions by replacing foreign car parts, such as bumpers with parking lights. Eyebrows are slowly disappearing. These are plastic or fiberglass strips attached to the top of the front lights.

First, the reduction

Discreet changes in appearance are in vogue, combined with a new body paintwork. – Slightly stylized bumpers, suspension and alloy wheels. After such treatments, the car takes on a new look, despite seemingly small changes, says Mcm Team specialist.

Tuning companies initially offer alloy wheels and low profile tires. As a rule, lowering springs are also needed to reduce ground clearance. Even this procedure can significantly improve the appearance of the car, subject to the correct selection of the mentioned elements. Going further, we can replace bumpers, lamps, blackout windows, add, for example, a roof spoiler for a hatchback or a thin strip for a sedan's flap. You can improve the appearance of any car.

- A used car, for example, for 25-30 thousand zlotys is a good car depot, - says Robert Grabowski.

Prices for individual items depend on the brand you choose. Importantly, you should not save on tuning parts, because some of them directly affect the safety of the driver and passengers. These are mainly wheels, tires, suspension elements and lamps. In turn, body parts, albeit more expensive, but made with great accuracy, certainly will not bring shame to the owner. After all, no one wants to pass for a fan of country tuning.
