New Volkswagen Caddy photos published

The German automaker has published sketches showing the visual appearance of the new Volkswagen Caddy. The presentation of the car is scheduled for February 2020. 

Caddy is an iconic model for Volkswagen. The company has been producing cars since 2003. It was last updated in 2015. Now Volkswagen is preparing for the presentation of the next “new thing”. The novelty will be presented to the public in less than a month. The first sketches were shown in December 2019, and detailed sketches appeared the other day. 

Volkswagen representatives said that the updated version will have nothing to do with its predecessor. Published photos showed that such statements are too loud. Nevertheless, the automaker used the already existing design achievements, and the updated Caddy will look like the previous version. 

Among the differences, the new bumper shape, large wheels and enlarged wheel arches are clearly visible. The roof line is visually tilted back. The taillights have become narrower, they have become elongated. 

The manufacturer worked on carrying capacity: this figure has increased. The passenger version of the car has increased in size, but Volkswagen does not specify how much the novelty has “grown fat”. The “chip" of the car will be a panoramic glass roof. 

Volkswagen did not provide information on the technical equipment of the news. It is only known that “on board” there will be modern driver assistance systems that are currently not used in classmates. Among the features is expected a mobile application that allows you to control vehicle options from a distance. 

Most likely, the car will appear on the market in 2021. Note that this project is being implemented in cooperation with Ford. Don't expect an electric version of the Caddy. The German manufacturer will create an electric car based on ID. Buzz Cargo, so the fate of the eco-friendly segment is predetermined.
