operating experience VAZ 2110I have owned a VAZ 2101 for more than 7 years, and to be precise, since January 2004. Just at that time, dozens of 16-liter 1,6-valve engines came along. The first thing that I did after buying this car was immediately flashed my brains, since the native ECU engine did not want to drive at low revs, and there was no way around the city without it. Also in one service they offered to replace the camshaft, as they promised the dynamics of the car will become better at times. I decided to listen to them, and drove to the service, replaced and installed a new camshaft with changed valve timing. What can I say after this modernization, driving in the top ten has become a hundred times more pleasant, the dynamics are just super, now from the very bottom the car is briskly gaining momentum and pulling like a tractor, even with a well-loaded trailer.

By the way, after all these changes made by the craftsmen in the car service bestservice. kz, fuel consumption, oddly enough, did not increase, but, on the contrary, became even slightly lower than before - about 7,5 liters per 100 in the combined cycle. After all the changes, the car passed no less than vyub, but 140 km, and so far everything is fine with the engine. But the clutch did not reach 000 thousand km, although this is not surprising, because in urban operation it is often necessary to use it.

Somehow I had to go to the city at least 300 km in one direction, I bought my son a toy here: a radio-controlled helicopter Kiev. So, I bought this toy and drove back fully loaded, both the interior and the trunk, as I jumped into the building materials and bought the tiles. Upon arrival home, my son was very happy about the helicopter, and I myself would not read to play with such toys.

But the chassis served conscientiously, did not change anything up to 100 thousand km, and the shock absorbers with risers did not even flow, but nevertheless decided to replace it, since the car was already rocking from side to side on steep bends. Replacing 2 ball joints for such a run, I also do not consider it a problem if you look at the quality of our roads.

The battery worked for 3 years, until the charge dropped at all, and it was not time to replace it. But, after replacing the battery, the voltage of the on-board network is always normal, and the battery lasts much longer than the original factory one.

During all this time of operation, consumables also had to be changed quite a lot, but without these expenses, nowhere, because oils and filters cannot wait for their death, they need to be changed on time. Basically, these are brake pads, tires, air and fuel filters, and a bunch of different bulbs.

Perhaps, with more sparing operating modes, dozens, it took less money for spare parts, but when operating dozens in urban conditions, one can only dream of this. I think that the car is worthy of its money, both for an ordinary car owner and for our Russian roads, just a great option. And for those who do not like sedans, you can take the same car in the back of a hatchback or station wagon.
