Europe's largest exhibition of hunting weapons and ammunition, as well as equipment and accessories for outdoor recreation, celebrated its 40th anniversary this year. As is usually the case at such events, manufacturers, taking advantage of the great interest and attendance, tried to present their products and technical solutions as the best, latest, or at least unique.

Taking a closer look at them, we see only their real usefulness, or - unfortunately - in a large number of products, especially their unconventional modification, the so-called "art for art's sake". Here are the curiosities that, for one reason or another, caught our attention during our visit to the fair.

A survival bracelet from the American company CRKT (short for Columbia River Knife & Tool). Unwinding it, we get several meters of strong nylon cord and a steel cord with hard carbide grains embedded in it. With such a rope, you can cut a tree trunk with a diameter of several centimeters, although this is not very convenient, but it is a means of survival, any accident.
