BMW to launch its e-Scooter in autumn

The last mile solution developed in collaboration with Micro Mobility Systems, the BMW e-Scooter, will officially launch in the fall.

BMW is increasingly interested in micromobility. Following the unveiling of the BMW X2City, a car halfway between a bicycle and an electric scooter, the manufacturer is gearing up to launch a new model. The BMW e-Scooter, which is much closer to traditional electric scooters, was developed in collaboration with specialist company Micro Mobility Systems.

The car folds easily and is transported in the trunk of the car, weighs only 9 kg and ranks first in the last mile segment. The BMW e-Scooter, equipped with a lithium-ion battery connected to a 150-watt electric motor, provides a maximum autonomy of up to 12 kilometers and a top speed of 20 km / h. Charging from a household outlet takes about two hours.

Designed in matt black and perfectly matched with the classic blue BMW propeller logo, this small electric scooter will complement the Lifestyle accessories and will go on sale this fall. Sold for 799 euros, it will be complemented by two other non-electric models, City Scooter and Kids Scooter, which will sell for 200 and 120 euros respectively.
