Free your makeup - INGLOT FREEDOM SYSTEM collection test

When putting together the boxes for the INGLOT FREEDOM SYSTEM collection, I decided to focus on two specific styles. I made them and then tried to recreate them for several weeks to evaluate the quality and durability of the series. Check out how I did!

Eye shadow from the INGLOT FREEDOM SYSTEM collection

How many flowers are here! Perhaps you could give an exact figure, but it would not reflect the breadth of the offer of the FREEDOM SYSTEM collection. In addition to a wide range of colors, the series also includes many finishes.

In addition to matte formulas, there are cream pressed pigments, classic glossy, pearly and satin shades. You will be able to create very complex makeups or create a truly versatile palette for everyday use.

When creating my set, I had two different styles in my mind: a warm one based on brown, red and peach glitter, and a cool one with black, purple and blue in the foreground.

Makeup with INGLOT FREEDOM SYSTEM step by step

I decided to put my eye makeup idea into the FREEDOM SYSTEM [10] Square case. There was also a place for two lipsticks - a classic red and a slightly muted pink.

Here are the steps I took to create the fiery smokey eyes:

  • I started by contouring the lid with the 299 warm matte eyeshadow. It's a soft formula with deep color and moderate pigment so it works great as a transition color.
  • I blended the borders above the break with the brightest version of the 108 vegan trio from the FREEDOM SYSTEM RAINBOW MATTE series.
  • Once I had a satisfying transition, I moved on to applying a luscious 262 neon mid-lid. The pigment fascinated me - the shade really has power!
  • I continued shading with brown and orange on the lower lid—because the colors were so intense, I gave up pulling it very low.
  • I applied a flash to the inner corner, a cream pigment in the shade HUSTLE'N'BUSTLE 702. I decided to highlight the lower eyelid with it, because it beautifully “opens the eye” and makes it bigger.
  • To complete the work, I decided to add lines - not sharp and graphic, but slightly smoky. To do this, with black shadows and a thin oblique brush, I drew a line from the middle of the eyelid along the lash line and finished with a swallow. The effect needed to be subtle, so I didn't use Duraline, which is perfect when you want to line your eyeshadow.

I treated the shadows from the second cool set a little differently. I wanted to see if the formulas from the FREEDOM SYSTEM series would be suitable for creating a demanding and less utilitarian style.

I decided to stretch the hatching towards the temples and combine it with the contouring. I write down the steps below:

  • On the entire upper eyelid, I applied color from the CREAMY PIGMENT series No. 713 with the elegant name PARTY ROCKER. I feathered it outward, trying to give the hatching a triangular shape.
  • I darkened the outer corner with black.
  • I completely painted over the lower eyelid with a pigment from the SHINE series No. 33 and combined it with the cloud developed above.

To my set of colors, I also picked up lipsticks, powder, concealer, blush and eyebrow shadows. I used all these cosmetics during the tests and would like to tell you a little more about them, because without them the whole make-up would not be complete. Both styles had the same basis:

  • Concealer - shade 112 turned out to be a bit dark, but I managed to find a use for it. I used it for light wet contouring. Using a damp foundation brush, I spread the formula under the cheekbone, along the bridge of the nose, and under the hairline. I applied the camouflage with a sponge like Beauty Blender, achieving a very subtle effect.
  • Powder – I settled on vegan, pressed, matte and banner options. You will find it under number 301. The formula is very pleasant, velvety and, most importantly, does not tend to bleach. And it is also very light - you almost do not feel it on the skin, and it allows you to enjoy the matte skin for many hours. Great option for relaxation!
  • Blush - I chose shade 46, peach and warm. In summer I look best in it, especially if I sunbathe a little. Lately, I've been loving applying this cosmetic product just above the cheekbones - it makes the face look slimmer.
  • Eyebrow shadows - perfect shade for me. Using a cut and precise brush, I drew a line under the eyebrow and filled in a few hollows. The effect was matte and very natural. I did not fix my hair with any additional cosmetics, and everything kept very well all day.
  • Lipsticks - I chose two: blood red (09) and dirty pink (72). Both have a satin-matte finish and are invisible on the lips. They dry quickly, but do not form lumps, and due to the creamy consistency they do not pass onto the teeth or into skin folds. The palette of shades of these lipsticks from the FREEDOM SYSTEM series is very large, so you can easily find something for yourself.

This "freedom" in the name of the collection is the key word. There are many cassettes and packages for them at your disposal, so creating the cosmetic bag of your dreams is not only pleasant, but also very easy. It doesn't matter how complex your image is. The quality of cosmetics also gives freedom, which is expressed in its durability and ease of application. The pigmentation and the specificity of the formulas are pleasing - both are easy to control.
