What does a torsional vibration damper do?

The muffler contributes to the smooth starting of the car without jerks and jerks and the correct acceleration.

The clutch assembly transmits engine torque to the gearbox. With the ability to disengage the drive, the clutch allows you to change gears, damping the vibrations that occur when starting off.

The clutch disc has a complex design, thanks to which it can perform the functions assigned to it. It also includes helical springs placed in seats symmetrically to a certain diameter. These are vibration dampers. Their task is to limit the vibrations that occur when the clutch disc starts working.

If one of the springs breaks, the entire disc must be replaced, even if the pads are still thick enough.
