After some deliberation, I decided to go the more complicated and expensive route, namely by installing seats from a used foreign car. In general, eventually took from the trade wind, but only the front. In general, when I bought chairs, I basically knew that the fastenings of the BB and the vase are different and very, very much. As you already understood, there were problems with this. We thought for a long time about how to get out of the situation and came to the conclusion that we need to do some swap of the skid from the old chairs with new seats. In general, we started by completely sleeping off the stand, the one near the tunnel and making a new one in order to achieve the same level as the one near the door. On the chairs, when I brought them, there were ears for fastening the wheels for the sled, but they were too long (for installation on the floor), I had to cut them down while sacrificing the driver's seat lift mechanism. Unpleasant, of course, but what to do.

Seat upholstery is a great tuning option, but if it's already loose, it will need to be replaced. On the "seven" you can install both new native seats and seats from foreign cars. Fit seats from 210 Mercedes W1996, 1993 Toyota Corolla. Seats from SKODA and Fiat will fit, but you will need to make two additional holes to install them.

In addition to the above, Peugeot and Nissan chairs are used, but they have a discrepancy and require revision of the mount. From Volkswagen, the seats fit with almost no modifications, but they are too high for the VAZ 2107, therefore, despite the increased comfort, it is not recommended to install them.

Replacing seats is considered to be a change in the design of the vehicle and, in accordance with Russian law, requires mandatory registration with the traffic police.

Music in VAZ 2107

Like other "classic" car models, the VAZ 2107 comes from the factory without a radio. There is a place for it, a plug is installed there, which gives ample opportunities for sound tuning.

It seems to me that now it is absolutely impossible to imagine a car without music, especially on long trips - you just want to enjoy your favorite songs on the road. The only refinement is to expand it to DIN format with a simple sharp knife. Then you need to make sure that the radio tape recorder is securely fixed in the "beard". In my opinion, the steering wheel is really uncomfortable. It is large, while the rim is quite thin, and holding it is uncomfortable. And it is not located very well - in the turning position it noticeably closes the dashboard and, unfortunately, is not adjustable. Our steering wheel also had a feature - either constructive, or the alignment was once poorly adjusted - the car does not drive straight in the straight position of the steering wheel, but in a slightly turned to the right.

The easiest type of tuning that will help to cope with the external imperfections of the steering wheel, such as scuffs, is to install a braid on its rim. It also makes driving more convenient, as your hands will no longer slide on the steering wheel.

To replace the steering wheel, the old steering wheel must be dismantled. Automobile stores sell sports steering wheels for the VAZ 2107.
