When Oregon father Kim Ridley wanted to list his 1977 Datsun on eBay in the US, he tried to make it more attractive by adding a provocatively dressed and somewhat scantily clad young woman to it.

If she were a professional model, then there would probably be some outrageous exclamations, but nothing surprising. But what shocked people was that this young woman is his 20-year-old daughter, Lexa.

In eBay images, she was shown in various sexual positions near a car: one with her legs spread and the car visible between them; and in another, she leaned over the hood and pushed her buttocks towards the camera.

Advertising industry magazine Adweek reports that Kim, being Lexa's father, "gives a weird and new unhealthy twist to ... the 'sex for sale' motif that goes beyond the usual clichés."

However, Mr Ridley said he did not regret making or using the images. "If I felt bad about it, I wouldn't do it," Ridley told Adweek, adding that he often used sexy photos of Lexa and her friends to sell things.
