Paris: Free Parking for Electric Motorcycles and Scooters
From January 1, 2022, parking for two-wheeled vehicles in Paris will be paid. A measure that does not apply to electrical models.
It has long been announced that parking fees for two-wheeled motorcycles will be in effect from January 1, 2022 in Paris.
Two-wheel parking in Paris: how much does it cost?
For a two-wheeled car, the size of the parking lot will correspond to 50% of the price for a passenger car. Thus, the hourly rate is set at 3 euros / hour for areas 1 to 11 and 2 euros for the following. For people coming to work in Paris, the Town Hall will also offer a two-wheeled pass (2 RM). Linked to the reference park, this subscription will come with an hourly rate that will depend on the zone chosen:
- Zone 1 (central areas 1 to 11) : subscription 90 € / month + hourly rate 0,30 € / 15 min, i.e. 1,20 € / hour
- Zone 2 (periphery of districts 12-20): subscription 70 € / month + hourly rate 0.2 € / 15 minutes, i.e. 0.80 € / hour

After parking fees (FPS) are also increased for offenders. They spend 50 to 75 euros in the center and 35 to 50 euros in the outer areas.
Free for two wheeled electric vehicles
Regardless of the engine chosen, home care professionals will benefit from free parking, while other professionals will be eligible for a specific rate that has not yet been specified.
