There is a real renaissance of versatile shapes and materials on the market. Wooden toys, for example, make a splash - they are much stronger, more efficient and more environmentally friendly than their plastic counterparts. Board games and educational games, which are designed to stimulate their development through play, are also back in vogue.

Puzzle for a two-year-old - how should they be characterized?

As you probably know very well, the first puzzles for a baby should first of all be the right size. Too small details will not interest a small child who is not yet able to see specific details on them. It will simply be too difficult for him to put together a puzzle that is too difficult, which will make learning through game threads. In addition, small puzzles simply pose a big threat to the baby. He can accidentally swallow such a detail, which, of course, can have quite serious consequences.

In puzzles for a two-year-old child, too, there should not be too many details - six or eight are enough. To interest the baby, of course, you need an interesting picture. It should be filled with colors and bizarre shapes that affect the child's imagination. Ideally, they should not be too complex - the child should be able to distinguish between them easily.

It is also worth thinking about the structure of the puzzle itself. They should be comfortable for the baby so that they can be held and lifted, and at the same time not have sharp edges that the child can get hurt on. Therefore, massive and heavy wooden puzzles are not necessarily suitable. It is better to choose foam puzzles that are easily accessible - light and XNUMX% safe. In addition, it is also important that they are protected by a coated surface. Often there is a picture on the puzzle that is easy to tear off or wet. Articles intended for the smallest should prevent this.

Another important aspect is the ease of movement from place to place. Toddlers love to play around the house, so it's important that the puzzles can be easily boxed and moved to another place. The best solution is a bag with a handle that you can carry with you like a briefcase. It must be tough - otherwise your baby may accidentally crush them during the game.

The first puzzles for a child - which one to choose?

A popular choice among parents of the youngest children are jigsaw puzzles in the form of books. On the sides of them, obviously made of a denser material than ordinary paper, are illustrations in the form of several puzzles. When using such an accessory, pleasant and useful are combined - the child trains manual skills and visual perception with it, and at the same time comes into contact with a coherent story. Stories are a great way to remember, which is why educational puzzles published as books hit the mark.

In the form of a puzzle, you can carry a lot of educational content and help your kid remember it better precisely because he does it while having fun. Therefore, instead of choosing characters from fairy tales, you should think about more developmental illustrations. Examples include puzzles with different kinds of animals or explaining the secrets of the human body.

Whatever theme you choose, pay attention to aesthetics. You can find really different puzzles and books on the market - some are more comical, others are based on photographs. When choosing toys for children, look for those that have beautiful illustrations to stimulate the imagination of the little ones.
