PDLS – Porsche Dynamic Lighting System

This is a system that controls bi-xenon headlights, dynamically adjusting the depth of illumination and thus providing even illumination of the roadway.

Dynamic cornering light adjusts the main light units according to the cornering angle and the vehicle's speed when cornering. Static cornering lights activate additional headlights to better illuminate exiting tight bends or when cornering.

PDLS also adjusts the distribution of the light beam depending on the vehicle speed. Visibility-dependent dynamic headlight adjustment is activated by switching on the rear fog lamps.
