"Transitional" diesel fuel

"Transitional" diesel fuel Diesel fuel is sensitive to low temperatures, so several types of this fuel are used.

Diesel fuel is sensitive to low temperatures, therefore, several types of this fuel are used - the so-called. summer, transitional and winter.

Some gas stations sell "transitional" diesel fuel Ecodiesel Plus 50. This fuel must withstand temperature extremes up to minus 15 degrees Celsius. This is the “cold filter clogging” temperature, i.e. the limiting temperature below which the precipitation of paraffin crystals occurs. They prevent oil leakage and engine operation.

"Transitional" diesel fuel at the stage of refinery production is enriched with special additives that prevent its turbidity and stratification. An additional advantage is the low sulfur content of just 0,005 percent, which contributes to clean exhaust gases and keeps the injection equipment and engine in good condition. This oil facilitates starting and smooth operation in mild winter conditions. Since the product already contains anti-paraffin additives, there is no need to add additional chemicals when refilling.
