I'm talking about the so-called portable heater. According to research, they make the interior of the car heat up a few minutes faster than without it.

To test the operation of the device, two Skoda Octavia with a diesel engine were used. The cars stood on the street for several hours, and the temperature inside them was the same - the thermometer showed 2,5 degrees Celsius.

In a car without an additional heater, 12 minutes after turning on the heating, it began to warm up. The portable heater simply plugs into the cigarette lighter socket and attaches to the dashboard with double sided tape. In a car with this device, the thermometer began to rise after five minutes.

The equipment accelerates the heating of the cabin, but you should not expect an instant effect. The cheapest heaters can be bought for less than PLN 30.
