PETRONAS IONA. Working fluids for electric vehicles

PETRONAS Lubricants International (PLI) is launching the PETRONAS IONA line of EV fluids for vehicles with this type of drive. The new products are in line with the brand's ongoing efforts to reduce CO2 emissions and stop climate change.

The just-introduced PETRONAS IONA line of fluids is PETRONAS' answer to changing mobility trends.

PETRONAS IONA is designed to provide optimum performance and durability for electric vehicle components. The range includes PETRONAS IONA fluid for battery cooling, PETRONAS IONA Integra for integrated transmission and PETRONAS IONA plain bearing grease for quieter operation and longer life.

Last year, as much as 75% of PETRONAS' research and development funds were spent on activities leading to the reduction of CO2 emissions. At this year's Geneva Motor Show, the company demonstrated its commitment to protecting the environment by introducing other innovations such as the improved range of PETRONAS Syntium oils with CoolTech™ technology, which includes the first oil for hybrid vehicles, the new PETRONAS Tutela range and ETRO+ Gear Oils, a modern base butter.
