Peugeot showcases e-Metropolis electric scooter in Geneva

Unveiled at the Paris Motor Show last October, an electric version of the iconic three-wheeled scooter Peugeot Metropolis is on display at the manufacturer's stand in Geneva.

The Peugeot e-Metropolis, representing the electric future of the lion brand, transmits 36kW of power to the rear wheel via a toothed belt. The Peugeot e-Metropolis is capable of speeds up to 135 km/h and a range of up to 200 kilometers.

If the capacity of the battery pack is not indicated, the manufacturer informs about the presence of a 3 kW on-board charger. A Type 2 socket behind the hatch between the front lights allows charging up to 80% in less than 4 hours.

On the bike side, Peugeot e-Metropolis uses a new rear suspension with Ohlins mono center shock.

Like its thermal equivalent, the e-Metropolis concept falls into the category of three-wheeled scooters available under a car license. Unfortunately, Peugeot still hasn't given any marketing direction for this electric scooter, which aims to complement the Peugeot 2.0 and Peugeot e-Ludix in the 50cc equivalent segment. Cm.
