Peugeot Genze 2.0 – New Lion Electric Scooter at EICMA 2015

While Peugeot appears to have interrupted marketing for e-Vivacity, the lion brand is unveiling a brand new electric scooter at Eicma: the Peugeot Genze 2.0.

GenZE ... that probably means something to you! Fine as this is an electric scooter marketed by the Indian Mahindra group in the US, which is also the main shareholder of Peugeot Motorcycles since 2012.

The Peugeot Genze 2.0 is technically identical to the American version with a 1.6 kWh removable lithium battery that provides a range of about 50 kilometers. Peugeot GenZe, equivalent to 50 cc, is capable of speeds up to 45-50 km / h and is equipped with a large 7-inch screen on which you can select three driving modes.

It remains to be seen if the Genze 2.0 will ever be sold in Europe through the Peugeot network ... Nothing has been announced yet!
