Drivers diligently fill out the record book, which has recently been dominated by German names - Nuremberg, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf. During the summer and early autumn, as well as at the Formula 1 races in Monza, the 20-car drove many kilometers along the German tracks. There, of course, we did not feel sorry for her, the average speeds were high, so it is not surprising that since the first report of the supertest on XNUMX thousand kilometers, the consumption has also increased.

Apparently, in the first fifth supertest of Pezheychek's life, we were a little softer with the gas pedal. Then the result was 8 liters per hundred kilometers, and now this figure has grown to 16 liters.

But in connection with the already mentioned kilometers of the German route, this engine of the Two Hundred and Six supertest cannot be considered bad, as it has proven itself. It's not exactly a racer, so we often rode for long periods at full throttle, but it's quiet enough to not get tired over long distances, and it's also nimble enough in town. And most importantly, he did not let us down, because he never coughed. It's the same with the gearbox - the shift lever is a little inaccurate and the shift itself is quite loud, but it's been the same since day one and there's no hint that its health will deteriorate in any way.

As a result, there were other errors. After walking 30-20 kilometers, we took Dvestošestica to the service station, where, as usual, we examined and changed the oil and filters. At the same time, the wiper blades were also replaced, which were already pretty worn out and began to leave indelible lines on the glass. The final score was quite favorable - just under XNUMX thousand tolars.

In addition to regular maintenance, we fixed several minor flaws: we drowned out the plastic crickets that appeared in both B-pillars, and tamed the front passenger seat headrest, which did not want to stay in a given position, but always went down to the very bottom. position. Since the 206 is still under warranty, of course we weren't charged for this repair and the crickets didn't respond for the next few thousand kilometers.

There are two more interesting entries in the test book: at 28 thousand kilometers a light bulb in the front left headlight failed, and after seven thousand kilometers a light bulb in the front right headlight failed. The drivers who replaced them complained that the task was very tiring, as there was not enough space around the lamps, so dexterous fingers and a little practice were necessary.

The first major failure occurred at 37.182 kilometers. Refused air conditioner, which has proven itself perfectly on hot summer days. In the dashboard behind the air conditioner button, at first a quick switch was audible, then it still worked from time to time, then they completely stopped talking. The entry "This car only has a switch and an air conditioner indicator lamp" in the test book caused a quick call to service, and "Two hundred and six" left us for two days.

The air conditioner was repaired quickly, only the power relay failed (the repair was carried out under warranty), and the remaining 206 time went to the paint shop, where they tackled the holes in the front and rear left fenders. The car picked them up in the parking lot before the first supertest report; the culprit remained unknown, the damage was compensated by the insurance company.

True, the descriptions of the errors are quite long, but the errors themselves were small and harmless, in short, nothing like that, which would be too alarming. Moreover, in all other respects the 206 has established itself. Most drivers still praise the seats and comfort, sometimes berating the steering wheel for operating the radio and illuminating the switch at night to turn on all four direction indicators. Interestingly, Dvestoshestitsa does not sleep a single night in front of the editorial office and you rarely see her in the parking lot. Mileage accumulates incredibly quickly, there is a long queue for keys, which says a lot about the car as a whole.
