Photon Limited Edition Royal Enfield Electric Vehicle
Electrified by British retrofit company Electric Classic Cars, this Royal Enfield electric vehicle offers a range of 130 to 160 kilometers.
While converting motorcycles and thermal imagers into electric ones is only allowed for a few days in France, then in many European countries this is common. In England, specialist company Electric Classic Cars wanted to showcase its know-how by electrifying a Bullet from manufacturer Royal Enfield.
Renamed Photon for the occasion, this electric motorcycle largely combines elements of the original bike's bike. The changes affected the engine: the single-cylinder was replaced by an electric motor with a capacity of 16 horsepower, providing a speed of up to 112 km / h.
In terms of energy, there are four 2,5 kWh batteries built into the motorcycle for a total of 10 kWh. Equipped with elements from Korean supplier LG, they promise 130 to 160 kilometers of autonomy. In terms of recharging, Photon uses a 7 kW on-board charger. Sufficient for a full charge in about 1:30 with a suitable terminal.
Small series
Crafted on demand and handcrafted, this Royal Enfield Photon will not be available for all budgets.
On its website, Electric Classic Cars mentions a selling price of around £ 20.000 at £ 22.900, or EUR XNUMX at the current price. It's enough to place this Photon in the same price range as the Zero SR / S and SR / F, with much higher specs and performance.
