Piaggio launches electric scooter at a discounted price

Until now limited to the Vespa Elettrica only, Piaggio's electric offering will soon be complemented by a new model at a much more affordable price.

Piaggio's electric Vespa, first introduced as the 50 version and later the 125 equivalent, is clearly not the most competitive of the electric scooters with a sales price of over 6000 euros. Good news: a more affordable model is in the works! This was announced by Maurizio Carletti, the manufacturer's sales director for the European market, in an interview with the Italian newspaper Sole 24 Ore.

Autonomy, top speed, etc. At the moment, we know little about the characteristics and characteristics of this future entry-level electric scooter. The presentation of the first prototype is expected this spring, ahead of a possible exhibition of the final version next November on the occasion of the EICMA 2021 exhibition in Milan. Maurizio Carletti promises a price close to the competitive one. What to expect for around 3000 Euros.
