PKN ORLEN supports Polish manufacturers

PKN ORLEN supports Polish manufacturers The fuel group consistently supports Polish, small and medium-sized enterprises. Their products are sold at ORLEN stations. The coronavirus pandemic has not changed that course, quite the contrary. Recently, protective masks from two Polish suppliers have appeared in the offer of the ORLEN station. Thanks to the order of PKN ORLEN, 400 jobs were saved at one of these manufacturers.

Customers of the ORLEN station can purchase reusable protective masks for protection against coronavirus infection from two Polish companies - Brubeck and Teofilów. Masks from Brubeck They are packed in 1 or 3 pieces and are made of functional microfiber. Thanks to the use of a unique technology, the effectiveness of their antibacterial action does not decrease even after repeated washings. They guarantee the highest degree of permanent protection and allow you to breathe freely.

We specialize in the production of thermoactive clothing. The last months have required a lot of work and determination on our part to learn how to function in the new reality. The whole company was switched to the production of masks, but one idea was not enough - we also needed a stable partner who would trust us. And here ORLEN came to the rescue, thanks to which we have a chance not only to stay on the market, but also to save 400 jobs in our plant and in the plants cooperating with us on this order, explains Dominik Kosun, Managing Director of Brubeck.

Also available at ORLEN stations masks from Feofilov Packed in pairs and certified by OekoTex Standard 3.

– As a company with almost 50 years of tradition in the production and sale of high-quality, certified knitted fabrics, shortly after the first cases of COVID-19 appeared in Poland, we began technological work, testing, and then sewing of reusable protective masks. We started cooperation with PKN ORLEN because it will allow us to quickly bring our product to a wide audience, says Mariusz Trzczalkowski, Chairman of the Board of Teofilów.

It is much easier to survive the crisis when Polish companies join forces to counter the consequences of the pandemic, he adds.

The ORLEN network includes about 1800 stations. across Poland. Thanks to this, even small, often family-owned companies have a chance to survive in the market. Already as much as 85 percent. products available at ORLEN stations are made in Poland. A study by the Kantar Institute convincingly confirmed that we value this activity of PKN ORLEN: 75% of Poles believe that national magnates should be actively involved in supporting local entrepreneurs. And almost 90% of buyers are motivated to buy this or that product by information about its national origin.

Responsible business

From the very beginning, PKN ORLEN has been actively involved in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

At all ORLEN stations, in addition to masks, hand sanitizers produced by Zakład w Jedliczu, which is part of the ORLEN group, are regularly available. Thus, the concern strengthens the security of citizens and actively supports domestic business, and hence the Polish economy.
