Floating engine speed on Largus - solution

Many car owners of Lada Largus, judging by the numerous reviews on the Internet, have a problem with floating engine speeds. This becomes especially noticeable in frost at start-up. The revs can jump from 1000 to 1500 and are normalized only after the engine has completely warmed up.

Some tried to change the spark plugs, sinned on sensors, including the idle speed control, but the problem remained unresolved for most. Moreover, in fact, she was hiding in a simpler form than many imagined. After the numerous experience of the owners of Largus, we can safely say that the main reason for the floating speed was air leakage through the loose fittings at the throttle assembly.

The solution was quite simple, it was enough to buy a new ring that fit the throttle in diameter. And then everything follows the instructions:

  1. Disconnect the throttle control cable
  2. Remove the rubber band securing the intake manifold
  3. Remove the so-called intake muffler
  4. Next, we disconnect the hose from the IAC and the power plugs from it and the DPDZ
  5. Unscrew the bolts securing the air filter housing (torx profile)
  6. We unscrew the two fastening bolts of the throttle assembly itself, holding it
  7. We remove and dismantle the old ring, installing a new one instead

Below everything will be presented in the photo gallery:

Installation takes place in reverse order. As for the price of this gum, or ring, call it what you want - it is about 300 rubles for the original. And that is why the owners of Logans and Largus are trying to find an analogue, which usually does not exceed 20 rubles apiece.
