Why you should never keep small money in the car
Many drivers prefer to keep small things close at hand - in a cup holder or a niche located on the central tunnel. But a ruble coin, recklessly thrown into a "piggy bank", can cause a car to ignite, which, of course, no one knows. How car owners lose their vehicles because of small money, the AvtoVzglyad portal found out.
The car, one way or another, is a source of increased danger. One thoughtless action, and the driver - and even passengers with pedestrians - in the hospital. And you do not need to drive to bring to a disaster. An accident can also occur with a stationary car due to improper operation or, in other words, the bungling of the driver.
Here, for example, a cup holder - why was it invented? Probably, based on the name, so that the driver can put a container with a drink in it, thereby freeing his hands. But motorists are used to using this niche differently: they store small things in it. This is convenient - you do not need to reach for your wallet to thank the gas station employee or pay for coffee at MakAuto - although it is extremely unsafe.
Last summer, a LADA Priora burned out in Vologda, which the media trumpeted for several days. Perhaps the journalists would not have been interested in that news, if not for the curious reason for the incident. According to the driver, the car flared up almost instantly after ... a ruble coin slipped into the cigarette lighter socket by negligence.
As it turned out, there are plenty of stories on the Web about how car owners lost their vehicles due to small things. This is surprising, but the fuses, which, in theory, should take the entire load on themselves, could not cope with the voltage. So it’s not worth relying on them too much if your car is far from the first freshness. And if you are the second, third or tenth owner, then even more so: you never know who and with what hands “poked around” in the electrician before you.
Of course, cars are different, and in many the cigarette lighter socket, covered with a plug, is located in a safe place where a coin cannot reach without human help. But even despite this, it is better to keep a trifle away from the connector - in your wallet. And suddenly the children will play with it when you are distracted by paying for that same coffee from a fast food restaurant. Trouble can't be avoided!
By the way, the cause of a car fire can be not only a ruble that accidentally fell into the cigarette lighter socket, but also an unreliable charger for a mobile phone - such cases are also known to history. In order to avoid a fire, it is better not to buy Chinese devices in dubious markets at the price of a loaf of bread. The miser, as you know, pays twice.
