The other day, BASF, which specializes, among other things, in paint and varnish products, published the results of a study according to which the most common color for cars in the world is white. Yes, cars in bright colors do not attract the enthusiastic glances of casual onlookers, but they can rightfully be considered the most practical. And there are several explanations for this.

Cars painted white are less likely to get into accidents, as evidenced by the ratings of insurance companies. This is explained simply: white cars are more visible on the road than black and gray ones, especially at night. True, when purchasing a brand new car, it should be remembered that light shades are dearly loved by car thieves - it is easier to repaint them in order to cover their tracks.

Practical drivers, when looking for a car, of course, take into account such a factor as its final cost, which in most cases is affected by the color of the body. White is often basic, free, while other shades ask for a certain amount of money. Take, for example, the Volkswagen Polo, one of the most popular models in Russia.
