Fake Parts

Fake Parts The use of substandard "substitutes" may result in a safety hazard or damage to the vehicle.

Poles often buy counterfeit products of well-known brands, such as clothes, shoes or cosmetics. They are also happy to use non-original car parts.

The use of "substitutes" is due to the limited wealth of our wallets. In the case of vehicles, the use of substandard spare parts can lead to a safety hazard or damage to the vehicle.

 Fake Parts

The problem arises when buying brake "pads" or tie rod ends of unknown origin. The use of unsuitable filters or lambda probes will, at best, lead to a breakdown of the car.

Until recently, relevant regulations protected buyers from purchasing products of dubious quality. Manufacturers and importers of spare parts were required to have a certificate for labeling a number of products related to vehicle safety and environmental protection. It was the so-called symbol "B". With Poland's accession to the European Union, these provisions ceased to apply. Currently, the “B” mark, like other old product markings, can be used on a voluntary basis.

In the European Union, another product certification is used, denoted by the letter "E".
