La BMW M140i it's an underrated car. Not being a "pure" M like the BMW M2, it is often overlooked and considered unsportsmanlike. Well, that's not true at all. The BMW M140i looks a lot like the BMW M2, starting with the turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six. With power di 340 CV, has 30 hp. smaller than M2, but has 500 Nm of torque to a lower mode that more than compensates. The tuning is less rigid and the machine is more docile and easier to push to the limit. It is available with both rear-wheel drive and xDrive all-wheel drive, making it more suitable for versatile use.

The engine is a real force: full at all speeds, energetic, with a dark and metallic sound.

ON THE WAY

La BMW 140i it is the only company in its segment with 6 cylinder three liters and tback ration, this already says a lot about his talents. Aesthetically speaking, it is sporty yet understated, unlike the flamboyant Audi S and RS. In short, it is a sophisticated sports car.

Despite its sporty-elegant appearance, its characteristics are nevertheless similar to that of a miniature supercar:

Lo steering, in the tradition of BMW, it is straightforward, precise and "balanced". IN engine it is real power: full at every speed, energetic, with a dark and metallic sound. There is a 6-speed manual transmission as standard, but there is also a Steptronic transmission optionally equipped with a launch control mode. The sports suspension is not marble, so the car is very soulful even at the limit. You can play around with the rear if you like, drawing black stripes on the pavement with ease. Also standard are 18-inch wheels (optionally also 19-inch) and an M Sport braking system capable of withstanding definitely high loads.

PRICES

La BMW M140i it is used around 30.000 euro; the real deal considering it's almost M2. Not to mention, well-equipped compact diesels are generally available for this price. The expense claimed by the house is 7,1 l / 100 km, 7,4 in the case of xDrive.
