Fiat Panda 100 HP
Well yes one panda... With such a tall, boxy exterior, the subcompact Fiat looks somewhere between funny and cute. A mini spoiler, side skirts and a few other unpublished details hardly give it a sporty look. Contrary to popular belief, 100 hp. atmospheric 1.4 isn't enough to make Panda fly, but this is where the fun begins. The power is enough to keep you entertained, and the engine must be turned on at high power for good performance. 0-100 km / h is overcome in 9,5 seconds, the maximum speed is 185 km / h.
The ultra-short gear lever next to the steering wheel is a good ally and you have to fiddle around squeezing all the horsepower out of the engine. Unfortunately, the gear changes are not that fast and the change is a little sticky, but nothing major to ruin the experience.
The combination of a high center of gravity, stiff suspension and modest tires makes the Panda 100 HP agile and responsive to your actions, but also jittery if you do something wrong. The front tires hold up well and the rear axle can't wait to be provoked. This does not mean that she is ready to bite you, but you should treat her with respect.
In general, the consumption is also decent and, without sacrificing too much, you can drive an average of 7 l / 100.
Renault Twingo RS
The Twingo RS exudes a much more serious and focused aura. You only need to look at the 17-inch wheels (the Panda has 15 inches) and reduced height above the ground to understand that, although small, it is still the daughter of Renault Sport.
The 1.6-horsepower 133-liter naturally aspirated engine has almost no dimensions for the A-segment, and Twingo RS it is capable of working several notches above the Panda. Renault is tough, precise and angry. The engine is never angry, but nevertheless loves high revs, and the direct and understandable steering and powerful brakes prompt you to immediately look for the limit. The gearbox, like on the panda, is a bit complicated, a small defect that weighs especially on a quiet ride.
La RS it obeys rapid changes of direction and draws ideal trajectories if the asphalt is smooth enough. In fact, the car jumps a lot on bumpy roads, and it also makes you notice holes well and reduces comfort in daily use. The consumption is also not quite a record: the average consumption in the city is 14,5 l / 100 km, and in the country mode it is possible and 7,6 l / 100 km.
