Snow on the roof of a vehicle poses a threat to the driver and drivers of other vehicles. That is why an ice brush and an ice scraper are essential equipment for every car in winter. If the vehicle is equipped with a heated rear window, the heat will melt the ice. It is also worth getting a special liquid for defrosting and cleaning the wipers, and before the trip you should also check if the wipers are frozen to the windshield. Of course, it is extremely important that the wipers are in good condition, as you will have to use them very often in winter. Also be sure to purchase a windshield washer fluid appropriate for the weather.
Apparel
In winter, drivers are exposed to extremely difficult traffic situations, so factors that can further reduce driving safety should be avoided. Many drivers admit to temporarily losing control of their car due to driving boots or thick-soled shoes. Driving shoes should not restrict the movement of the ankle in any way, their soles should not be too thick, as this reduces the possibility of feeling the pressure transmitted to the pedals, or too slippery, because the foot may slip off the pedal - warn the driver. Five-finger leather gloves are best for driving as they provide a good grip.
