Subsidiary of the French company TOTAL. In the 70s of the last century, she absorbed one of the divisions of Renault, specializing in the development of automotive lubricants. TURBO DIESEL 10W-40. For petrol and diesel engines without particulate filter. Adapted to the requirements of Renault engines. Recommended for use in standard conditions and long journeys.

How to distinguish a fake

Engine oil is bottled in 4 countries, so packaging and labels, even in the original version, may differ. But there are some nuances that you can pay attention to.

First, take a look at the cover:

• In the original, it is well polished, its edges are especially smooth, while in fakes, the lids are rough.
• The cap protrudes slightly upward; for fakes, it is even over the entire surface.
• There is a small gap between the lid and the container - about 1,5 mm, fakes install the lid close to the container.
• The seal fits snugly against the body of the jar; when opened, it remains in place; if it remains on the lid, it is a fake.

Let's take a look at the bottom. Note that branded oil on the bottom can be found with three stripes with the same distance between them. The extreme strips are located at a distance of 5 mm from the edge of the package, this distance is the same along the entire length. If the number of stripes exceeds 3, the distance between them is not the same, or they are located crookedly relative to the edge, this is not correct.

The oil label is made of paper and consists of two layers, that is, it opens like a book. Counterfeits are often opened, torn, glued or torn off along with the main page.
