2023 Ineos Grenadier Accessory Details: New Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series and Rival Land Rover Defender Ready for New Aftermarket Adventures

The Grenadier offers the potential for old-school off-road thrills.

The buzz over the UK-built Land Rover Defender lookalike, the Ineos Grenadier, has now climbed a few notches thanks to news that those planning to buy one of the hardcore XNUMXxXNUMXs will have access to a huge range of aftermarket accessories.

The Grenadier will be available for purchase in Australia in the last quarter of 2022.

The British SUV - a clear homage to the Land Rover Defender with nods to the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen - will be powered by a BMW 3.0-liter inline-six petrol engine (210kW/450Nm) or a diesel engine (185kW/550Nm). ), eight-speed automatic transmission, permanent four-wheel drive, and front, center and rear locking differentials.

The boxy SUV will have a ladder frame chassis, drive axles front and rear, and coil springs all around. It will be built in Hambach, France.

Inside, the Grenadier is expected to feature an old-school dash and overhead console, as well as a 12.3-inch touchscreen multimedia unit, durable Recaro seats, wipeable surfaces, removable rubber flooring and drain plugs.

As Ineos Automotive reveals more details about its Grenadier vehicle due to arrive here in 2023, it's clear that a full range of accessories for their work and play truck is also in the pipeline.

APAC (Asia Pacific) head of sales and marketing for Ineos Automotive Justin Hosevar said UT will be an important part of the ongoing strategy in the region.

Ineos Automotive is committed to ensuring that the Grenadier is compatible with parts from the brand itself and third-party suppliers such as Australian heavyweights ARB and Ironman 4x4.

Aftermarket equipment will include even stronger underbody protection than stock, front and rear protection (think roll bars, roll bars), storage platforms and more.

Equipped with a snorkel, heavy skid plates, side steps and calculated front and rear vehicle escape points, the Grenadier test vehicle was reportedly spotted in Melbourne, presumably en route to or from actual off-road testing.

The entry-level two-seat commercial version of the Grenadier will have a starting price of $84,500 plus travel expenses (“guideline price, not final,” according to Ineos Automotive). 

The station wagon will come with a five-year/unlimited road-support mileage warranty, and a five-year service plan will be available from scratch, but no pricing was available at the time of writing.
