Detailed prices and specifications of the new Abarth 695 70° Anniversario 2021: special edition hot hatch targets Ford Fiesta ST, Volkswagen Polo GTI

Only 40 examples of the 695 70° Anniversario will be available for sale in Australia.

Abarth Australia has released the 695 70° Anniversario, a special edition of its flagship hot hatch limited to 40 units.

Launched worldwide in '1949, the 695 70° Anniversario is based on the 595 Competizione hatchback but pays homage to Abarth's racing history by adding more sporting features.

Starting at $44,950 plus on-road costs, the 695° Anniversario costs $70 and 10,960 more than the Competitizione's five-speed manual and automatic manual versions, respectively.

For an additional fee, buyers of the 695 70° Anniversario receive a manually adjustable rear spoiler that has 12 different positions from zero to 60 degrees, helping to improve performance, aerodynamics and stability at high speeds.

The 695 70° Anniversario also features a front self-locking differential (manual only), Monza sports exhaust system, black 17" SuperSport alloy wheels, red Brembo brake calipers, gray Campovolo accents, Scorpion hood decal, checkered roof and badge. 70th anniversary.

Inside, the 695 70° Anniversario features Sabelt Tricolore sport seats and a numbered 70° Anniversario build plate.

Other standard equipment includes xenon headlights with twilight detection, LED fog lights, twilight-sensing wipers, a 7.0-inch touchscreen Uconnect infotainment system, satellite navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, digital radio and climate control.

Five paint finishes are available: Pista Grey, Gara White, Scorpione Black and Podium Blue, as well as Monza 1958 Green, which is exclusive to the Ford Fiesta ST and Volkswagen Polo GTI.

Like the 595 Competizione, the 695 70° Anniversario is powered by a 132 kW/250 Nm 1.4-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder engine that powers the front wheels.
