Iveco has updated its Daily van range and cab chassis with new Euro 6 engines, as well as improved safety technology and standard equipment for the 2021 model year.

Starting with the van range, three trim levels are available - 35S, 50C and 70C - with six different displacements, rear or all-wheel drive and four Gross Vehicle Weight (GVM) options, including two options for passenger car license holders.

The cab chassis range, meanwhile, is offered in 50C and 70C versions, with multiple wheelbase options and four GVM options.

Three engines are available, starting with a 100kW/350Nm 2.3-litre turbodiesel available exclusively in the 35S van.

To comply with the Euro 6 standard, the new engines use Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology, which injects AdBlue into the hot exhaust to remove nitrogen oxides.

Paired with each engine is a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic transmission, the latter of which also has Eco and Power modes.

Safety is also greatly improved with the availability of Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), adaptive cruise control, crosswind assist, updated electronic stability control systems, lane departure warning and hill descent control, and a shift in lane departure warning. .

Four upgrade packages are available for each vehicle - "Hi-Business Pack", "Hi-Comfort Pack", "Hi-Technology Pack" for vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions - to "select the specification package that best suits the application, gaining more value by grouping options,” says Iveco.
