Buying Lada Largus and first impressions

Finally, I became the proud owner of a Lada Largus seven-seater station wagon from Avtovaz. Of course, many dissuaded me from buying, however, as always, they dissuade everyone from domestic cars. But I still took a chance, as I have a small business, and such a spacious car is easy for me
necessary, and for that kind of money, competitors in the car market simply do not exist in principle.

Moreover, to worry if all the parts and spare parts on it are imported. This is the same Renault Logan MCV long beaten by time, which, by the way, has shown itself quite well, and has established itself well among budget family cars and a car for small businesses. Moreover, in one of the body designs, there is a van.

The first thing you pay attention to while driving a Lada Largus is a long wheelbase, you won't fit into the turns as it could be done on Kalina or Priora. I have to slowly get used to this first inconvenience on my list. So, I warn all future owners - be careful when cornering, especially in the city, inadvertently you can catch the curb with your rear wheels, it has been checked on yourself.

Parking, too, at first seemed rather inconvenient, too large dimensions, although large rear-view mirrors still help in this difficult matter. About a week has passed, and this inconvenience is no longer bothering me, I'm already used to it. But sometimes I am still afraid to take it back if there is a wall or curbs. In the future, you can install parking sensors, or even better a rear-view camera. For beginners, it will generally be a very useful device.

The engine pleases, the dynamics is normal, but as always, we Russians want to drive fast, and it seems: if only 10, 20 horses could be added for complete happiness - and it would be a completely different matter. Perhaps later I'll do some chip tuning of my Largus, but while I drive like this, I need to get used to the car. But I was surprised by the quiet interior, you immediately feel that there is nothing left of the VAZ here except the nameplate on the radiator grill. Sadly, our engineers haven’t even gotten to that yet, they just took the finished car and called it by their own name.

It is a pity, but upon close inspection, I did not find a cabin filter, which surprised me very much at first, and then upset me. How so? It's a family car, isn't it !? I had to buy a separate cabin filter in the store and install it myself.
