Buying a car in winter What to watch out for?

Winter is a special season in the context of buying a car. Due to worsening weather conditions, the seller may hide some technical defects.

When inspecting a car, be sure to start the engine and see how the vehicle works. Experts say it's best to check a car with a cold engine, because then it's best to check the injectors, fuel system and other components.

It is best to ask the seller to put the car in a heated room in advance. When the car is covered with snow, we will not check the paintwork, glass and any scratches.
