Buying Kalina and Grants from PTS 2013

20100225-134135-221Recently I decided to go to the official Avtovaz website and look at the prices of the lineup. But I saw at the very top a banner posted, which promised big discounts on Lada Kalina and Grant cars with PTS 2013. Also, if I'm not mistaken, Priora was also on this list.

So, having familiarized myself with the models and discounts, I was already thinking of selling my 3-year-old Kalina at the market price and buying a new one for almost the same money. But first, I would like to quote the prices of those models that could be bought at discounts and which participated in this special promotion. Of course, you can always choose the car that suits you the most and order it from an official representative without overpayment - see here.

Lada Kalina from "standard" to "luxury"

Since it was Kalina of the first generation that interested me, I was considering options with an 8-valve engine, which I like most of all, and it is also the most reliable. According to the price lists that were posted on the site, the cost of Kalina in the standard configuration in the station wagon was 287 rubles.

That is, for this money you could buy a new car, with electric power steering and a simple 8-valve engine. But in reality, everything turned out to be not so simple. Arriving at the local car dealership, which is the official dealer of Lada, I was told that such configurations had long been dismantled, almost carrying the first day of the action. Contacting a nearby larger city, managers said the situation was similar.

The very next day, having visited the Avtovaz website, I was convinced that there are no such cars even in Moscow and the Moscow region.

Granta was also snapped up in a couple of days

I decided not to look at Grant, although I don’t particularly like it, but the “standard” equipment would suit me quite well, since that is where the 21114th engine is located. I think that many people know that he was the only one of his kind who did not the valve bends when the timing belt breaks.

As a result, it turned out that Grant was dismantled almost immediately. The only options that could be bought from the 2013 TCP were the luxury equipment, but it cost a lot of money, so I had to drive my Kalina further.
