After a scandalous accident in Texas, Tesla Model X suddenly accelerates and crashes into a restaurant.

There is a new lawsuit against Tesla. The driver claims that his Tesla Model X did not respond to the driver's braking and suddenly accelerated to full speed, causing it to crash into a restaurant in the United States.

With constant exploits Elon Mask and its innovative technology, it's no wonder Tesla constantly makes headlines. One of Tesla's biggest claims to fame is its self-driving and autopilot capabilities.which offers owners the opportunity to get to their destination in an undeniably futuristic way.

While Tesla has taken commendable steps to keep its technology safe, it's not that hard to find horror stories. Autonomous driving has gone too far and some people have experienced the Tesla Model X random acceleration habit.

The electric Model X was Tesla's first SUV.

2015 saw the public debut of the Model X, Tesla's attempt at a crossover SUV. After the incredible success of the Roadster and Model S, the latest offering from the iconic brand was highly anticipated and did not disappoint. With falcon-wing doors and air filters ready to ward off bioweapons, the car looked like it had just stepped off a movie set.

Not surprisingly, the out-of-this-world car cost $132,000, which was out of many consumers' budgets. Despite this, Model X has many attractive features that help justify the price, for example fully electric transmission, seats for seven and a very large central screen.

Although Musk touted the car's high safety ratings at its launch, it wasn't long before the fault stories began to appear. For example, this "large center display" led to a recall of more than 100,000 vehicles after a fault rendered the rearview camera and driver assistance technology useless.

A new user complained about the sharp acceleration of his Model X

While it is said that touchscreen issues increase the risk of failure, this is certainly not the worst accusation the brand has faced. Nearly 2020 Tesla Model X vehicles were recalled in 1,000 due to reports of their roofs flying off. This year, owners are stating an even bigger problem.

After the recent scandal that the brand went through when it was involved, and which was allegedly related to the autopilot, now In particular, it became known about the case of another driver who claims that his Model X accelerated towards the restaurant, while his foot was on the brake pedal, preparing to stop.

He has since filed a lawsuit, eloquently stating that the car "experienced sudden, uncontrolled acceleration at full throttle, causing it to shoot forward and crash into glass windows in front of Subway restaurants."

It may seem strange, but plaintiff Khasene Cemil is not alone in his complaint. According to history, the lawsuit is backed by 192 NHTSA complaints that also cite sudden acceleration issues. It also states that "171 accidents and 64 injuries were registered."

Don't believe Elon? Don't worry - the NHTSA investigates every crash, so skeptics will get their answers in due time. 🙄

Tesla Model X lawsuit not yet successful

Despite the prevalence and severity of the problem, the lawsuit was not a quick success. The NHTSA and federal safety regulators declined to investigate the lawsuit or open a case. They claim that, based on Tesla technology, the car will not be able to arbitrarily accelerate. Their working hypothesis is that drivers likely suffered from "bad pedaling" by depressing the accelerator pedal while driving on the brake.

While the drivers continue to defend their claims and fight for justice, the company does not seem to suffer too much from the allegations. Tesla is no stranger to low reliability ratings and scathing reviews, but they maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Like the misguided acceleration of a vehicle, the enthusiasm of the loyalists shows no signs of slowing down.
