GMC Hummer EV proves that an all-electric car can be a lot of fun

Earlier this week, GMC released a 15-second video of the Hummer EV making donuts in the snow on social media.

In the video you can see the GMC Hummer EV having fun in the snow, proving that a fully electric vehicle can be a lot of fun and quiet. Although the video does not give any news or report anything new, it is nice to see the truck turn.

The all-new, electrified GMC Hummer EV will come with three electric motors that combined with a whopping 200 kWh battery add up to a GM-estimated best-in-class 1000 horsepower and 11,500 pound-feet of torque. 

All GMC Hummer EV Edition 1s will be cosmetically identical and fully equipped. Each features a white exterior and a Lunar interior horizon One of a kind, with a special Edition 1 interior badge.

The van will feature items such as:

– e4WD drive system

– Estimated GM range is over 350 miles on a full charge.

– Possibility of fast charging with 800 volt DC charger.

– Maximum acceleration estimated by GM to be from 0 to 60 miles per hour (mph) in approximately 3 seconds.

– Latest version super Cruise, an available driver assistance feature that offers hands-free driving on more than 200,000 miles of legal highways, as well as a new automatic lane change feature.

– Continuous damping Adaptive Ride Control

– 18" wheels, 35" Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT OD tires

– Underbody armor, sliders, underbody cameras, as part of the best in class number of camera views available.

– Adaptive air suspension with segment-leading air venting.

– Segment-exclusive four-wheel steering with diagonal drive function CrabWalk4

GM says Hummer EV is just the beginning, plans to build a fleet of electric SUVs and trucks because they want to capitalize on the growing demand for off-road SUVs and use the Hummer name to get rid of the bad reputation this vehicle has.
