Because it takes three to tango, and this is the perfect game for three.

The best games for two? A lot of! Good names for four or more? Of course! But how often do you three meet? Then the choice is no longer so obvious. Fortunately, there are plenty of games that are perfect for such a company!

I often sit down at the table as a group of three. Someone approaches, a friend approaches, or one of the potential players is preparing dinner. Therefore, we often download games from the shelf that we are sure will give us a lot of fun in a squad of three.

Something fast

Do you like sushi? I love. But even if you are not a fan of eating raw fish, you can easily act as an experienced sushi master and hunt in Sushi is coming! This is a very simple card game in which we make very important decisions from time to time! However, in my group, even six-year-olds played it, so we can certainly classify this game as an easy one. My favorite line-up of Sushi Go players is just three people - the game goes fast, while still having control over what happens to others. Very well!

Since we are already in the countries of the East, let's see Hanabi. It's a very moving co-op card game where everyone can see our cards... except us! The overall task of the players is to get rid of the entire deck of cards in the correct order, which is not easy at all. Why do I like playing with three people the most? Well, two of them are too easy, and four are incredibly difficult! Playing with three players gives me a pleasant feeling of solving a puzzle that, however, has yet to be overcome.

Do you like Scrabble? You will like it Soft cover book! This is an extremely witty translation of popular literary characters into a card game, plus a very interesting deckbuilding element to boot. Two people are very chess-like, and four feel that I am losing control of the game. Three is the perfect set of players for a paperback book. Keep in mind that people with a lot of Scrabble experience will have a big advantage over newbies here!

Something demanding

Consent is one of my favorite board games. I don’t know if it’s because of the intuitive rules that fit (literally!) on one sheet of paper, or because of the unique gameplay that each game brings, or maybe because of the many additions that diversify the game over time? However, I know that three people is the perfect game to play this interesting, pleasantly tickling gray cell game. In the course of the game, we will crawl across the map of ancient Europe, build houses, trade goods, establish trade routes, but most of all collect cards that will determine both the strength of our actions and the final score.

Another, slightly more demanding name is Classic. Stone Age. Let the quality of the game be confirmed by the fact that it was created in 2008 and is still being re-released. In the world of board games, eleven years is old! Regardless, players are still drawn to the Stone Age, sending out their cavemen for resources, building houses, and throwing the dice. The game has a perfect balance of three people, everyone has to keep an eye on the others, which means that the game is usually leveled until the very end!

At last Splendor! This is a great snack for thirty to forty minutes (unless we are playing with добавлениеthen it might be a little longer). Here we can easily sit two, three and four, but I think I usually play three. The race for the winning fifteen points is fierce and exciting, just like the fight for the cards on the table. If you don't know Splendor yet, buy blindly. He probably collected all the possible awards in the world, and it's really very nice. If, on the other hand, you've already beaten it a bit, invest in an expansion - it contains four modules, each of which changes the gameplay and adds a pleasant freshness to it.
