Meet the Chevy Beast that Chevrolet unveiled at the 2021 SEMA show.

In addition to the Chevy Beast, Chevrolet will be bringing seven more trucks and SUVs to the SEMA Show, showcasing the latest production models and concept concepts the manufacturer has in store.

Chevrolet unveiled the Chevy Beast Concept at SEMA, an ultimate performance vehicle for high-performance desert racing.

The Chevy Beast is a four-passenger SUV that is based on a modified Silverado chassis, uses a custom truck body, and is powered by a Chevrolet Performance LT4 engine capable of up to 650 horsepower (hp).

"The Chevy Beast concept takes the popularity of high-performance SUVs to new heights," Jim Campbell, vice president of performance and motorsports for GM USA, said in a press release. “This is a vision for a new dimension of Chevrolet Performance capability from a brand that has pioneered performance and supported customer personalization for over 50 years.”

The Chevy Beast has been designed to dominate the wilderness with features, handling and performance based on a production basis and out of the box performance upgrades.

"There's nothing better than the Chevy Beast," says Jeff Trush, GM Program Manager, Pace Car and Special Show Cars. "It offers great performance and capability, making it an expert in rough terrain, and it flies at full speed in the desert."

The impressive features of the Chevy Beast are complemented by unsurpassed style. It has tubular doors and a simple, lightweight clamshell front that reflects the functionality and aesthetic of desert racing. The rear of the car was deliberately designed with little to no overhang to maximize the angle of attack on steep climbs.

Inside, the custom cabin has a minimalist and functional design with four Recaro bucket seats, four-point seat belts, and a pair of 7-inch LCD screens that monitor vehicle functions and performance data.
