Fuses and relay Renault Megane 2
Content
Renault Megane 2 generation was produced in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 with hatchback, sedan and station wagon bodies. The sedan was assembled at a factory in Turkey, and all other modifications in France. In some countries, Megane 2 pickups were sold under a different name - Megane Grand Tour. We will show you where the fuse and relay boxes are located on the second generation Renault Megane and how to get to them. Also, a photo of the blocks and a diagram describing the purpose of the elements, we separately note the cigarette lighter fuse.
The execution of blocks and the number of elements may differ from those shown and depend on the year of manufacture and equipment level. Current diagrams must be printed on the back of the protective cover of the unit.
Blocks under the hood
Under the hood of the second generation Renault Megane there are 3 fuse boxes.
Battery fuses
This block is located on the positive terminal of the battery.

Goal
- 30A - Electronic control unit in the cabin
- 350 amps - gas vehicle, alternator, 400 amps - diesel vehicle - engine compartment junction box
- 30A - Engine compartment switch box
Switching unit
Installed on the left side of the engine compartment. Closed with a protective cover.
In one embodiment, removing the cover gives access to the block where the fuse can be replaced in another block will be placed in another case and access will be difficult.
How to get to the fuse box under the hood Renault Megane 2
First you need to remove the battery and unscrew the mounts from its mount to get to the ECU.
Next, unscrew its mount and move it to the side. We remove the air duct, near the radiator, and lift the ECU bracket.
We unscrew the bolt on the block itself. And now we can push the block. Don't forget to remove the power plugs.
