The Ferrari 488 Pista Spider uses the same 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine as its coupe sibling, producing 530kW and 770Nm.

At this year's Pebble Beach Contest of Elegance, Ferrari unveiled its hardcore convertible 488 Pista Spider, the latest model of the special Prancing Horse series to take on the Lamborghini Huracan Peformante Spyder.

Powered by the same 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine as the coupe version, the 488 Pista Spider develops 530kW at 8000rpm and 770Nm of torque from 3000rpm.

Mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, the rear-wheel drive 488 Pista Spider can 0-100 km/h in just 2.85 seconds and reach a top speed of XNUMX km/h, matching its fixed-roof counterpart.
