New Iveco Daily van unveiled

The new Iveco will be offered both as a conventional van and as a cab-and-chassis version.

Iveco has released images of its latest tipper, which will be released later this year in Europe and early next year in Australia. The company says the third-generation Daily is all new and certainly looks that way thanks to a fresh face with slanted headlights and a dual grille split by a body-color stripe. But the changes are deeper: Iveco is changing the wheelbase and body dimensions across the entire lineup, and is also introducing a new suspension.

Iveco has yet to reveal all the details of its latest Daily, so it's hard to say if it will run with the new engine or an improved version of the existing power plant. In any case, Iveco is ready to announce that the next generation Daily will be 5% more fuel efficient than the current model. It has also been confirmed that the new van will be built at two recently upgraded factories in Spain and Italy.

The new Iveco will be offered as a conventional van, as well as a cab-and-chassis version that can be equipped with a tray or body, or transform into a motorhome. The company is discussing three van sizes: one with 18 square meters of cargo area, another with 20 square meters and one with 11 square meters. car of its size.

For models up to 3.5 tons, there is a new front suspension, and for all four-wheel drive Daily models, a new rear suspension system. Iveco says suspension changes have been made to improve handling and load capacity.

It is claimed to have significantly improved the driving experience by reducing road and tire noise, as well as improving ergonomics and upgrading the air conditioning system.
