Pinned the rear brake pads on the Lada Kalina

This afternoon I decided to ride my Lada Kalina, but my trip dragged on for half an hour. And all because when he started to move, the car stood still, as if rooted to the spot. I already thought that I forgot to remove the handbrake, but after looking, I made sure that the handbrake was released, but Kalina still did not go. Several times in a row I tried to pump up the brakes, I thought it might help, and the pads would move away, but the result was zero. He jerked back and forth, back and forth, but still the car stood still.

Then I decided that this problem could not be solved so easily. He took out the key from the trunk, and through the holes in the disc, he began to knock the key on the brake drum. I tapped on the entire diameter of the drum, again decided to try to get under way, but still nothing worked, my car seemed to have grown into the ground, or rather, into the asphalt. The men came out, and they were also surprised why suddenly the pads were grabbed, because there was no frost in the yard, and the temperature was plus + 6 degrees above zero.

They asked me how long I had been driving my Kalina, maybe it's just that it has been standing for a long time and hasn't been ridden, so the pads were grabbed, stuck so to speak. But I drove my Lada just a couple of days ago, I don't think that during this time the pads could get stuck like that, most likely this is because I pulled the handbrake tightly. But in the winter it was not the same, although the frosts were down to -35, and I constantly put on the handbrake, but the pads never froze, and now it is spring and such an attack.

Then he started banging the key on the brake drum again, and finally my problem was solved. There was a sharp, ringing metallic sound in the drum, the pads fell back and fell into place. He wound up again and drove off as if nothing had happened.

Now I try not to put the car on the hand brake, I just put it on speed, or I do not fully apply the brake. But all the same, the question is tormented by what could have happened to my Lada Kalina. Now I will travel more often so that this problem does not happen again.

The same story. I think I overtightened the handbrake. Plus the car was on the descent.

Now you need to re-tighten the parking brake. At not fully tightening (there was a problem), on a small descent, the car rolled 3,5 m until there was a pebble under the wheel. reverse speed, if vice versa, then at the front.
